Post by trupowermotorsports »

Ok guys,

We decided to make a work log. We are going to start from the begining. We bought this car Jan. 25th for $900. Its a 93 GS V6 5 speed. It has 148K on it. We brought it home and the work started from there. We had our eyes set on this car for a month so we laid out the whole modification list and etc.

Week 1:
Oil change & filter
Full inspetion
Vaccumed and cleaned fully
Pulled Dent from Drivers Fender
Removed all interior to check inner body walls to see if it was ever in any accidents.
Painted Calipers Red
Painted Headlight housing black and added green leds that are wired to the parking lights for a little green effect during dusk/night.
ordered mugen twin loop muffler( waitng to install)

Week 2:
Painted Trim Black( the beige wasnt cutting it)
Did the accents in brushed Alum
Sent valve cover out to get powdered coated black chrome and never got it back, got ripped off.
Dyed Headlner black
Tried to wrap carpet section of door panels with vinyl but skrewed up the panels royally
Installed Front Strut Bar

Week 3:
Intsalled Altezza's
Insalled Panasonic 7303, Kicker Componets
Made custom dual 12" subbox, wrapped in black vinyl with the mazda symbol embossed in it so it sticks out alittle on top
Wire up the pioneer tsw306dvc's and directed 1500D amplifer with tsunami wiring
Intsalled weapon-r Dragon intake
Installed Carbon fiber hose braid kit
Picked up discountinued rims (17"x7" Sportmax 920's Hyper Silver)

Week 4:
Picked up dropzone 1.8 lowering springs (installing soon)
ordered short shifter
ordered 4 eurolite 12 green neons for interior
ordered door panels(installing soon, couldnt find any locally so we got some from bbqman)
Picked up another valve cover, cleaned it , primed it, painted it gloss black and cleared it

We will continue to update with more pics, lighting sucks but theres to much snow to take it out of the garage in michigan this time of yr. but heres some pics :
