First let me say that all these problems i have with my poor mx are really putting a lot of mental strain on me. That being said, my mx has been making a strange sound for quite a while now, when i accelerate it makes a horrible scraping sound that comes from the engine, but it is only when i accelerate.
When it is cold it makes it the most, but when it has been running for about twenty minutes it seems fine.
Does anyone know what it might be?

I had this...in another car..tought the engine was going but it turned out to be the water pump..cal also be ac compressor stuck possibly a pulley thats grinded away.

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!
