Re: Suggestion
Well, first off, this is not my board.

I was granted moderator status because I offered to help out Jeff Aycan with this UBB system. I am but a mere servant of the MX-3 community. If you ever have any questions about anything I do or anything at all, feel free to email me at TurboDave@autospeed.com .
I personally agree, that some performance forums for this site would be great. I am a member of www.ProbeTalk.com [among other UBB forums for other cars]. I spend a good bit of my time there. In fact, I am attending a Probe Meet in November in Myrtle Beach, SC. The UBB format has been very sucessful and well regarded by most automotive interest groups that I see on the web.
However, the current state of affairs of the MX-3 community are not such. The first collective of MX-3 enthusiasts was begun on the Egroups [now Yahoo Groups] format by Mr. Vaughn Nishimura. This forum was not created to compete with that group. So, as much as I would love to see this site develop into one like ProbeTalk.com, the current situation dictates otherwise. I believe there is currently a Poll located in the polls section of the Yahoo Groups forum in which members of that group are voting on their preferred format. Perhaps if the people vote and dictate otherwise, things could change. But currently this UBB is a For Sale/Wanted forum and Group Buys forum only.
You might want to set your settings on the Yahoo Group from receiving individual emails to a digest [what I personally use, sending one email containing ~25 messages together], or the other setting in which you receive no emails, you just read it on the web.
------------------
David Coleman #2
Ðë$t®Ø¥È® Õf €ïvî©$ @ñd T®åñŠmì$$îðÑs
1993 Mazda MX-3 GS Special Edition
1/4 mile: 16.05 @ 85.7mph
Updated Jan 7thPinkMX-3.com Looking at taillights sucks
