Glow gauges problem

Post by GuidoBiRiChiNo »

Hi all...
I had these gauges on for almost an year.. and EVERY time I turn them on, my stereo starts to buzz. It doesn't depend on grounding or alternator... and I can't figure out how to stop it.

Have anyone else had this problem?

You probertly have a power amp located in the trunk somewhere right?

If then youre signalcable from the headunit to the amp is of sh..ty quality "not shielded well enough",or has a sharp bend on it or maybe have been mashed some where..

Trý lending a good cable from someone, use it and see if the buzzing dissapears :D

I checked with a voltmeter and spliced the wires that originally turn on the cluster...

Dennis you're right, I have my battery and my amps in the trunk and my signal cable is not wonderful... I'll try to borrow another one.

Thanks guys I'll report! :2thumbsup:
