Wow I really like how you did that swap. What year was that escort engine from?

So with that swap done do you think that you would be able to take a 1.8l v6? all I want to do is be able to keep up with the v6 boys and I am planning to swap with the same engine.. what does it redline at? and would you take a v6 to the cleaners?

Awesome... all I need now is the engine... I am still trying to figure out where I am going to get one.. i am thinking that I am going to have to send away for one because there are no ford escorts here in newfoundland.. I am going to have to get one shipped in which is about 1300 bucks for that to happen.. plus whatever it costs to put it in...
$hit... but this needs to happen... I am SOOO slow with my 88 hp I cant take it anymore... if you could offer me some advice as to what I could do to save some money on the engine.. like a better way to get it I would really appreciate it.. also you never said what the engine redlines at....
