Pics of my interior (so far)

Post by EBUCKS »

Here's what I've done so far. It still needs a lot of work.

Pretty seat covers. I really like that silver vinyl there.
Looks good.
PS: I just noticed your pedals are REALLY crooked. What's up with that? Got funny shaped feet or something?! ;) j/k
~A
[ April 16, 2003: Message edited by: Aiden ]

I don't like to be negative but with that shiny dashboard it will glare up badly onto the windshield in daylight.

Ya the pedals aren't screwed in yet. I'll get to that. I've got more problems to deal with right now like I have no mechanical power to the gauge cluster. It lights up and looks nice but notice where my temp needle is (like my car is on fire or something). :)
one

simple bro, you dont drive it,,, :D :D
basically only 10-25% of the people who repaint their dashes drive their cars, they are mostly for show; i actually wanted to mention that when you started the project, but i didnt wanna discourage you. That was actually the reason i sold my baby blue dash and i stick with the black one.. :D

I really don't recomend doing it like that, but I cleaned it completely, sanded from 100 grit right up to 1500 grit to make it smooth, cleaned it again. Put 6 or 7 light light layers of sems vynil dye (using a proper air gun to spray it not spray cans lol) Then 2 layers of clear to protect it, then finally wet sanded it with 2000 gritt and it turned out nice and shiny. Just hard to drive it. lol
