How do you all like seeing pictures posted???

I know there are alot of people with dial up and they probaly dislike having to wait forever for pics to load when reading a thread...On the other hand i know there are people like myself who have high speed internet who can load the pics in just seconds...well my question to you all is this...do you like it when the picture is right there in the thread, or do you like it when you have to click on a link to go off site? The reason I ask is because I am going to be posting some pics of my cars tomorrow and want all of my fellow mxers to be able to look at them without waiting days or having to be inconvenienced by clicking to other sites...what do you all like?[ February 14, 2003: Message edited by: mx3man83 ]

I personally prefer them in the thread. BUT i remember the days of dial-up (an may have to return real soon) and I hated it..but for now. Post in topic has my vote.

ya i say just post the pics straight in the topic. i know ppl have dial up, i had i for a long time too, but i think most ppl are goin to high speed now.

agreed. Most people have hi-speed now, so just integrate the pictures into the post.

Most people have high-speed net access now, I have had it for like 3-4 years now.Since this is the Images/Videos Forum I think you should come to expect images are going to be posted in threads.

i have dial up and i say put em intopic going off site is a pain and is slower in the long run anyways

HHmmm i bet the best solution would be to do both..post the link at the top of the thread so whoever is on dial up can click on it immediately before all of the pictures load and then they can hit back on their browser....and whoever has high speed can just wait a few seconds for the pics to load...Is this a good compromise??? OH...and is there anyone who would host some pics for me so i can post them directly in the thread???

but you have to remember to resize the imagehigh rez pictures should be linked
