new tranny what type

Post by zetticustoms »

Ok since no one is answering my other ? i have another one. My tranny is shot, and i was wondering if it is better to buy a racing transmission instead of gettin the old one rebuilt or buying a regular new one. Any replys are greatly appreciated. I have a 93 mx3 gs auto.
:D

I don't believe a "racing" transmission is available for the MX-3. Sorry.
Unless you were going to shell out the bucks for a custom installation which isn't what I think you're looking to do.

I'd recommend getting a straight cut non syncro'd dog box from Xtrac or Quaife.

WHOA Jesse has a sense of humor :D . Anyways, You could always get Level ten to build you a "racing" transmission for the low low price of 4000usd. But hey, they're bulletproof!!!
