Rear side marker socket BW3N-51-584

What's up all? My side marker light went out. when I changed the bulb I noticed that the socket was completely corroded and crumbled when I tried to clean the corrosion off. 
So now I need to replace the socket. The guy at Mazda gave me part number BW3N51584. When I looked online, everything I found said it was a discontinued part. Does not exist new.
Has anyone found an alternative socket that fits into the lens and the connector? Do I need to wire in a different connector? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
