Some more pics of my 95 subaru impreza being lifted.
This was my daily driver, with eibach 1" drop springs for years...Around Christmas 2012 the headgaskets went...so I picked up a new daily car and the suby got added to my collection of slowy progressing project cars...In short it needs/i am doing a full engine re-build, gas tank, and figured why not try lifting it

--I am using struts/springs from a 99 legacy outback as well as the rear swaybar brackets and trailing arm brackets. 1/4" strut top spacers, camber bolts all around. I still want to get adjustable trailing arms ( to fix rear wheel caster) and longer front swaybar endlinks. Wheels and tires are from a forester, sized 205/70r15 (stock impreza size 195/60r15) It has quarter panel wheel well rust so I will be fixing and making room to run at least a 215/75r15 sized tire...
In the pics the front sits a little higher than the rear, but it has no engine in it. overall ground clearance is close to 12 inch at pinchwelds...like 10 inch at rear diff, and lowest part of exhaust is now 8 inch's clearance.

my plan is to make this my "WAV"...winter assault vehicle  ..bigger tires with fender flares, roof rack, more fog lights etc... Few pics:

Time to slam a little turbo in that. WRX or STi engine would give you the added power to really show the snow who's boss. Anyway nice to hear your keeping busy. Of course head gaskets are common on that engine. Good thing is they leak to the outside of the engine so you can use radiator stop leak to fix it if it isn't too bad.

Mom has 05 LGT, its nice car. Brakes on these cars (Legacies) are sucky. I've installed bigger 1 1/16 master/booster from STI, StopTech pads and S/S lines and brakes are very responsive now. Im trying to talk her into buying a new exhaust (since oem has rust on it) lol. Subaru has good rumble with aftermarket exhaust on it.
