i was wondering myself how i would be able to put VICS on my SOHC rs but no response what do you know about that?

VICS is just butterfly valves that open up in the intake to let a bit more air in. That's about it. It changes the power curve a little, but nothing earth shattering. it's not anything cool...

The same sort of butterfly valves are in my thunderbird's intake, it has dual runners to allow more torque lower in the rpm range, and when the valves open, more hp in the upper rpm range. Again, nothing cool, just efficiency.

it's not about letting in more air, but changing the length of the intake runner, the length of the path the air must travel. It's an identical concept that's used on the V6's called VRIS
