So when trying to remove my alternator, I ended up unplugging a bunch of vacuum lines in the process. Now, I can't figure out which one goes where and teh workshop manuals and my google fu has failed me.
This here is the section I'm talking about, there is also a white plug that I cant seem to figure out where it goes, since I don't have anywhere for it to go, could anyone advise me there please?
Thanks guys.

Dug up the diagram, stupid me didn't think of checking the bit that said "vacuum line routing". New problem though, the vac hose nipples on the EGR solenoid have both broken off, is there any temporary fix I can do till I can track down another EGR valve solenoid? I gotta work this weekend so I'd like to have the car for that at the very least.
Theres a small vac hose that goes across the EGR valve solenoid, from the vent side to the other side and they've both broken off, seems like I'll have to replace the part, easier said then done on a friday night this close to christmas.
For example, can I plug up one side or both sides and just have crappy gas mileage or something? I'm not familiar with the EGR at all, just that a lot of the V6 guys have trouble with it.

Plug the vacuum line for the EGR valve for now... It will throw a check engine light evetually but wont leave you stranded or anything like that... You can still get around for a while with out having to worry..

Any longtime side effects from that? It looks like my best chance to getting a spare solenoid is buying a used one from here(couple weeks to get, most likely), other hten that I'm hoping to have my BP in by March but I'd rather not run the car without the EGR working till then.

You'll be fine... worst case you might get some pinging at low rpm heavy load.. If you do get that just back off the timing a couple deg... You could also get plugged up passage feeding the egr... but that would take a looooong time.. If it did happen you'd just take the egr valve off and clean it...
Great, I know a little bit of what it does but I know nothign of the long term effects of a malfunctioning one. Thanks for the info!

I used heat shrink on a couple of my crappy rubber vac caps. Wonder if crappy tire has this in their fix it section,,you know where the door handles and various clips are. I find an EGR can cause rough idle and a hesitant acceleration, good luck with that. Long term effects for me was additional drinking cuz it pissed me off, your experience may vary.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
WOuld the heatshrink hold vacuum? I might need to try this, I've started looking for a replacement and will probably grab one from the dealership, theres something about having a check engine light on all of the time doesn't sit well with me.
And it's a good thing my dad owns three liquor stores then!
