so im a motor knoob and since i have some knowledgeable instructors here. What is the big deal of the kl31 cams? Are you guys throwing them in DE´s for a more HP on a N/A build or....

Yep, they are a nice HP gain over the DE cams and bolt right in.

and it would be impossible to find a ZE with kl31 cams or is it standard? do people swap them out with out taking the whole engine?

KL31 cams come in straight neck KLZE's they are a little more agressive the kl01 cams fairly cheap power

They come in both . Straight and curved . I have both .

Never seen KL31's in curved necks unless someone swapped the cams or the IM
