Alright for awhile now Ive been trying to source some 323 V6 knuckle from overseas with no luck, well minus one chap who wanted more than the cost to ship the car over, and have found a possible solution. A local dealer that I work with was able to get some old MS parts for another customer a while back that were orginally only available jdm and said he can track down most parts provided we can supply the oem #. Sooooo if anyone overseas minds checking with their local dealers for the part number for a front spindle on a 323ba v6 chassis and inquiring about original MS stainless braided lines for an mx3 I would be very very appreciative
Atleast that way if Im paying that much for parts theyll be new from the dealer and no messin around with cleanup.
Thanks!

i found a set a few weeks ago but it was more then i wanted to spend. i think after shipping and everything he wanted it was close to $200. this guy supposedly owns a wreckers yard, make an account and pm him if your ok with that price, he is very helpful.

A spindle for me would be the solid section that serves as a mounting point for your caliper/strut/tie rods. Pretty much the whole piece under the shock/strut that everything bolts too. And all I am looking for is the front ones, I plan on providing the caliper and wheel bearings.
Thanks!

Aka a kingpin, a knuckle, or an upright.
I think spindle would technically be the wrong term, but I use it too

In the parts catalogue it's called the steering knuckle.

winner!
Though if you're asking people over here they seem easily confused by that term. It gets called the hub a lot over here. A photo/diagram is usually the best way to clarify.

I'd always called it a knuckle prior to my time on this board, now I call it a spindle.

it is a knuckle.
this is a spindle

the knuckle is part of the steering/suspension system. it is used as a mount for the axle and allows the system to pivot up and down and forward and back for steering in different conditions. a spindle is simply a mount for rotors/wheels. if you look at the rear "spindle" on a fwd car its obviously a mount for the wheel/bearing/break drum/rotor. however rwd cars dont have a spindle on the back as they have a drive shaft.
