MX-3.com

I have a MX3 with the KLZE swap but with the original K8 tranny. i find that the gearing of the k8 tranny is not ideal for highway driving and would like to have longer gear ratios. Any suggestions on what transmission i should swap that will give me longer gear ratios? if i decide to use a mx6 tranny in my mx3 is the clutch the same as the k8? or will i have to purchase a new clutch? the current clutch in my mx3 is a 3rd stage center-force

Use an MX-6 transmission, keep your clutch and flywheel. End of story.

if yuor patient something will come up. i got an mx6 trans for dirt cheap and have a msp lsd i'm gonna throw in to it.

Thanks, I usually would never buy a motor or trans without inspecting it first. Any warranty issue would be a nightmare and a lot of these places screw you over come warranty time. Thanks again tho.

I want to put a mx-6 tranny on my k8 (cause my k8 tranny is blown) so will that work

yeah itll work but those gears are kind of large for a 1.8l
