Hi everyone! Most of you guys don't know me at all. Some of the people that are on the Mx-3qc forums do know me. So I'll introduce myself! My name is Marc, I live in Châteauguay, Qc, Canada. I'm 18 years old, have had my drivers license for almost 2 years now. I'm currently at my 8th car (4 of them being mx-3s  )

My loving for the car industry started a couple years back, when I was only 8-9 years old. My brother bought a 1989 nissan Skyline. His being the 3rd in Canada (or so). I fell in love with cars. Of course, I wasn't old enough to understand all the engeneering that was put in place, right there, in front of me, but I did understand atleast ONE thing, I wanted a car as powerfull as his. For me, at that moment, 400bhp and 350rwhp was the most epicness! Of course, I do realize that there are WAY more powerfull cars on the streets, but to me, this IS the monster. Then, about 2-3 years after my brother got his skyline, my dad got one too. I was in paradise. It was far more less powerfull than my brother's, but still, RHD cars are awsome! I worked a little with them, even tho I couldn't understand everything I was doing (wich is kinda normal at 10 -11). But I learned, every little things that I could from them, and I still learn today.

But, lets get back to the main subject, Mx-3s :P
My journey started in late October 2010. My 1997, AWD, Subaru Brighton was getting pretty fucked up by rust and needed serious investment, wich I couldn't afford. So I had to make the terrible decision to sell it. I then started looking for a new ride. I had seen Mx-3s on the streets, my neighbour once had one, but for some reason, I never really got into it. Then, I saw it, a 1996 automatic 1.6L Mx-3. I fell in love! It neede some bodywork due to some rust, but I was up for the challenge! I changed some basic things, like a cracked headlight, rusted doors and a hatch. I loved it, but the lack of power and acceleration made me sell it. I looked up, and found a MX-3 KL-DE with shortshift, stage 3 clutch, HID, and some other goodies. I bought it for peanuts and played alot with it. It was a HUGE upgrade, going from a automatic 1.6 to a manual 2.5! I was astonished. I loved the engine so much, until it started to f--- up... A bad ground (wich I only discovered when it was in pieces). So I bought another one :D This one being the perfect base for a swap/ mods. 2k later, It was MINE  :P! For now, I lowered it, added a race stearing wheel and that's about it, but the 2.5L KL-DE is going to be back!

Yes indeed, they are the stock V6 rims. I have bought them like that (actually, they came with the car). But what the previous owner told me that he polished the mags, then, painted black the side of the rims, finnaly aplied a couple coats of clear. I think that's about it :)
