Do 1st Gen probe\mx6 ksport struts work on the mx3. I read in an older post that the mx-6's do however, the year was not noted.
Thanks

Mobius, bad advice.
1st gens would be hard to fit, if they will even work at all. People already need to mod 2g mx6/probe coilovers to fit a 1g so who knows if a 1g setup would work. Why are you interested anyways? Man up and buy the correct coils for the car or get some used 2g mx6/probe coils that we know will fit with minor mods.

Ya interesting read if you were buying ksports 4 years ago.
Almost all problem threads related to ksports are regarding the first gen bodies (aka all orange and chrome shock absorbers) the second gen bodies are vastly improved and have a way lower failure rate.
You get what you pay for, ur not going to get a perfect coilover for 800 bucks, that comparison on the shock dyno, while interesting, is kind of irrelevant as most people that use these coilovers won't even notice the unbalanced dampning rates on the first gen shocks.
If you are a true enthusiast looking to get the absolute most out of a coilover and you understand dampening/spring rates etc you won't be buying 800 kontrol pros lol.
