What you mean all the time? As in when the car is off to? Or all the time when the car is warmed up?.. Which wouldn't be all the time.

Anyways I'm guessing the guy who installed them (probably you) twisted the heat needle to much when putting the gauge face on so no its reading innacurate.

I bought the cluster with the indiglo speedhut face preinstalled, when the car is cold it's right at the c not under the sweep like it normally is and when warm it sits above the h. I believe it's just the needle position that's screwed up, can I just pop off the needle and try it in a different spot or does it have a key way?

I drove home with no illumination cuz I don't wanna fully install it just to have to rip everything back up.

You can try to pop the needle off but you will probably break it. Your best option would be to installed the gauge faces over another cluster.

The temp needle is twisted, its connected to a thin metal shaft, and that is what is twisted.. so if you try to twist it back it may break, and if you pull it off it may also break as the strength has been compromised.

Well I do have my original cluster so I may pop off the needle and see if I can get it back, if it breaks I'll use my original, just wanted to see if it was possible.

Thanks guys

the needles are not meant to come off...

Try twisting the needle to its proper position when the cluster is OFF. Like, try to compensate for how it is off.

If its flucked, there's no harm in trying.
