Hey, Im about to embark on my second klze project. My originial was a 92 mx3 that I put the KLZE straight neck in, with fidanza flywheel, phenolic spacers, ported polished (loved the car). However kids came and I had to sell the car. Tomorrow though I am buying a 1994 626 2.5 v6 which im planning on buying another klze. My questions to everyone who is current on this subject.
1. I cant remember which engine had more horsepower the straightneck or the curved neck.
2. Can anyone recommend where I might get the engines at the best price?
3. Fidanzas at the best price?
4. And the phenolic spacers, i think they were called outlaw something? I cant remember the brand name of the spacers.
5. I had a megasquirt, I dont want to get that much into it, is anyone selling a good chip to install into the computer?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You made two threads by accident...

Straight neck is supposed to make more power, but it doesn't fit very well.

Engine for a good price is different for everyone, as local is a good price.

someone mentioned a few days ago a guy named Rafi from.... idk where, but he offers apparently the best deal on ACT clutch/lightweight flywheel combo.

Outlaw Engineering made the spacers. They still sell them, but check the FS section here and on probetalk. get the right ones for your motor though.

Ryan (Probinator) makes custom eprom's for these, over on Probetalk, but you need to contact him like 6 months in advance though...

Both engines develop the same horse power, the curved neck does it at lower rpms.

I meant from my experience you DON'T need to contact him 6 months in advance. He never took long to respond to me and I didn't have to wait too long for my chip.
