Hey guys... Im a long time member but a notso frequent poster...
My name is Declan. I currently race a Eunos 30x (mx-3) over here in Australia. Its got a KL in it... and in current spec has 150kw at the wheels... Im currently in the process of dry sumping the engine to make it live... At the same time i will be going to 11.5-1 comp pistons and bigger cams.
Up until 3 weeks ago i also had a Ford Telstar TX5 with a KL in it that my dad raced..
Both cars have won class at state and national level...
Im currently in the process of building a Mazda 323 BF FWD turbo racecar.
For the road i have a Ford Telstar TX5 4ws v6 and a Mazda MX6
I also build engines and modify cars in my spare time (im still at school)... Im 16 and am also a member of TeamEunos.com
heres a link to my engine thread

Welcome to the forum. I'm curious after reading your engine build thread there what you are getting from your race built engine for HP?

haha yeah im on Astina GT, te, Ford Laser.com, XR4.com, this and the IPRA forum... its hard work..
At the moment we have 140kw at the wheels.. Im building another engine with a dry sump that should be closer to the 170kw mark... Once i get it reliable ill be adding some cosworth type cams to take it to around 190wKW...

For those of you who are MSL (Metric as a Second Language) 140kW=190hp, 170kW=230hp, 190kW=260hp...give or take.
Would love to see the dyno sheets.

Hey guys.. Just logged in for the first time in AAAGGGEEESS!
So i should update my BIO a bit.. I stepped up to National level in a ford Fiesta XR4 and won a few rounds...
Im now at RMIT Uni studying engineering... And my business is just taking off!!! We have just developed a new range of Kl engines dubbed the KLDK-R. In short its a fully rebuilt KL with mild modification.. Its based on the engine in my 30x racecar but without the bigger cams... The kicker is the price.. $2000. For more info have a look at the write up on TE.com..
We are also developing a larger Throttle body range that will bolt on to all Kseries manifolds, a 5 stud upgrade and recoed distributers at an affordable price...

Nice! I would love to read specifics, as your build is probably similar to mine, and I could probably learn more.
