Did Mazda ever race the KLZE?

HI all,
First off, what are the dimensions of the KLZE? An if Mazda raced this engine, did it use a dry-sump? If not, is there a kit? If not, what's the feasibility of doing one, like what's involved vs. cost?

I'm unaware of any situation where Mazda corp raced the ZE. A couple aftermarket companies have.
No oil sump kit, no one changes mount location of motor, so no need.
Lots is involved. An external pump and resevoir, all the hosery.... for what gain? Are you doing a very custom app? Baffled oil pans have been discussed as rod #6 is thrown in a small percentage of hard-driven motors, combination of poor oil pressure from stock pump, exceeding the rev limit, and hard corners.

HI all,
Thanx for the link to the dimensions... Man this sucker is bigger than I thought it would be..... As for the custom app, YEP!! This engine will go into a Pontiac Fiero..... Only for rite now College comes first... So it won't be happing soon, unless someone wants to donate everything needed

, or I win a lottery....

Ah, it will be a sweet little car with the shittastic stock motor gone.
Please keep us updated with your project if it gets past the planning stage.
