Title says all. I don't have any clutch pressure plate bolts, and cannot find the bolt in 10.9. So can I use grade 8.8?

This is for the BP's transmission btw.

I believe that Gr.8.8 would be more than sufficient.

The difference between gr. 8.8 and 10.9 is pretty significant, but agree that 8.8 is probably sufficient.

I guess you'll find out. If it were me I'd be willing to take the chance.

well I took the chance!

Transmission is mounted, starter is on, half-shaft is on, and trans. mounts are on.

About to drop it in after dinner!!!!!!

I also agree it should be enough.

I plan to replace most of the bolts on my project car w/ 8.8's, except for the suspension areas.
