I have read through lots of search but I need more info. Forgive me for asking but I need certain questions before I start. Please help me out. I have done lots of other mazdas and I love them all. I am 37 and want to try this setup.

I have 2.5 and auto trans I think from a millenia

I have a 93 RS and want to do the ze swap Questions.

1. What main motor mount and motor mount bracket will I need to use?
2. What transmission will fit (bolt in) 2.5 manual, 2.5 auto, 1.8 manual or 1.8 auto?
3. what trans mount and sub frame or cross member. I know the auto trans are weak but I am looking for fitment right now.

All I am looking to do is get it bolted in properly. The rest I can fab, wire, install, tune etc.

Thank you very much.

Editing, I missed the RS part.

Swapping RS to GS is basically stupid.
#1 you have rear drums instead of discs. They perform lesser, and look much uglier. Also, you don't get the rear lower tie bar. This can be fixed with a rear subframe swap.
#2 you don't get the front lower crossmember. It plain old can't be swapped over to an RS unless you swap the whole front lower subframe
#3 you don't get the tighter steering ratio provided in the GS. Swap the rack.
#4 you likely don't have a sunroof or power doors (locks/windows). drill out the rivets and weld over a new roof panel, and swap door internals.

#5 everything in the bay needs be changed. We're talking 100% of the hard lines, brake and clutch, the proportioning valve, all the coolant lines, the rad, the brake booster itself, all the wiring. We're talking engine harness, body harness, etc. Not to mention you need to get your hands on all of the extras, such as the ECM, shift linkage, axles, etc.

#6 next up, your suspension will be butched. You'll need at least GS springs, or aftermarket.

2.5 auto trans won't even fit in these cars. You need a 1.8 ATX unless you want to... nevermind, it just doesn't work. (basically PGT/Mx-6 front clip)

in an MX-3 you can use a 2.5L mtx or a 1.8 mtx/atx for a GS. For an RS, you can't use any v6 parts/trans unless you swap to v6, as outlined up top.

You always need MX-3 mounts. front will work from 2.5L cars, but you need to drill out your crossmember.

And most of all importance, you're doing all that freakin work for 40hp? Especially when a BP drops directly in, and makes the same power as the K8? Even if you do a ZE, a BPT makes the same power, and once again, drops right in, and offers MUCH more concerning potential, fuel mileage, and reliability.
