Throttle Body Postioning Sensor

Just seeing if anybody knows this.I have an Mazda Millennia air intake on my car,went ot put the Millennia throttle body on and the sensor plug on my car has four wires and the Millennia has three.Does anybod know if I can lose the fourth wire or am I stuck with the KLDE throttle body?We went to swap the sensors and that does not work.Need some advice.Sorry for the long winded verbal diarhea.
