Best swap:

v6 -> KLZE engine importer
I4 -> BP(t) 323gtx/gtr, or engine importer. Or just a plane jane BP (130hp) from a escort GT, sephia, or tracer LTS.

Protege LX also came with a BP.

Is it the 4 or 6cyl? There's no need to post questions like this when you could just use the Search function OR go to Fax and look at the write up by David Coleman. Spend a couple of months reading it over and researching (by using the Search function) then go to Toronto and buy your motor.
