What happened to the irc channel?

This page:
http://mx-3.com/community/irc-chat.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
says there's a #mx3 irc channel on efnet, but I seem to be the only user. Is the channel dead?
(if so the page should probably be removed)

nothing happen to it, seems to be working fine...
if you're the only one in a chat room its probably because no one else is logged in, but its no reason to remove it so that others can't log in at other times.

When you say it seems to be working fine, did you join the channel?
(because if you did I never saw you join. what irc network/server are you using?)
Also there's no bot guarding the channel or anything, so I have ops at the moment. That was an indication to me that the channel is dead (as in no longer being used). Except for freenode, IRC itself is a dying community, so it's not really any surprise.

No, I'm not trying to be a nitpick, but being new to the community I'm trying to navigate through the site and its wealth of information. I was hoping to be a good citizen by helping other users avoid some of the wrong turns and dead ends I've found.
My sincere apologies if I came across as judgmental or excessively critical. That was certainly not my intent here or in my other posts on this forum.
