Hey,

I have a 93 1.6 and I experienced the exact same problem driver side and all. Mine resided in a hose clamp that had come loose and slipped a little. I'm pretty certain the the everything looks similar between the '92 and '93. Check the large 1 - 1.5" hose that comes from the engine and goes under the far right side of that horrendous stock air intake. I took that intake off, and could clearly see that where that hose leads into the rad, the clamp was a bit loose and the hose had pulled back. I just loosened the clamp, repositioned the hose put the clamp back on and presto coolant magically stay's in car.

Hint: Mine had some coolant still in the hose so have an oil pan ready to catch the run off.

hope this helps ya!
