I was using the k8 plugs, worked well for me until I flooded the engine with water.

The issue with KLDE plugs in a KLZE is that they would get hit by the pistons. a KFZE might experience the same problem.

it was my understanding that all kl engines are non intereference engines. I know the klde, and kl08 are non intereference.

Non-interference as in the valves won't hit the pistons if the timing belt snaps, but won't take into account spark plugs that are longer than normal...

so long as he matches the plug to the proper engine he should be fine, I have heard good things about the diamond fire plugs but have not used them myself as of yet. The stock plug has a projection of 1.5 mm as for heat range I am not to sure what best suits the kfze. The diamond fire plug number is; E3.48 if your interested.

I used NGK Iridiums. Get them for the Probe FS 2.0L 4cyl
