Anyone know how to fix ECU's?

In the process of my engine swap, I burned up 3 ecu's. Inside, it looks like i need to replace one capacitor and one transistor. My disty ignition wires were reversed sending a current in the wrong direction. I would hate to buy another ecu and throw these out so I didn't know if someone on here knew how and/or had the ability to fix an ECU.

I have one K8, 2 KL07's and one KL90 ECU that all have the same issue. Maybe one couls be sacrificed for the needed parts??

If anyone knows someone or knows how to do this themselves, would you please let me know?

Thanks.

Usually damage isn't restricted to one chip. I think in all honesty your only option is another ECU. What year is your car?

EDIT D-uh, ok 94.

Visually, nothing about these ecu's seem to be wrong except for the two areas I mentioned. When opened, these ecu's had two black spots and they smelled!

It's just the reversed disty wires that caused this and I thought the initial startup was a seperate circuit than when the car is actually running.... maybe not :(
