Hello friends,

I am going to rebuild my K8 engine again after two years, mainly because my former-still-alive mechanic, who did his job wrong.. My engine takes oil, around 1 liter per 200 km, smokes like a starting Concorde and has no power at all, takes coolant and so on.. I bought a set of Nippon engine gaskets, but..

..I cannot find piston rings for my K8! :( I would like to have NPR rings, because this is company that supplies Mazda factory in Japan.

Can you, please, help me, where I can find those rings? I'd be very grateful for a link or any other contact, the best option is company which has these rings in stock and is willing to ship to Europe. I am going to rebuild my engine next Saturday, so I'd like to have those rings by the end of the next week, or few days later.

Thank you all!!

S.

Wow! Thank you! :)

No, I didn't kill my mechanic, I am just very .. sad, or angry .. I wrote bad thing, I know :( I put around $2000 in engine repair, bought all genuine mazda parts and the result is worse than before repair.

TopLine - I don't know the brand, is it good?

Is there any chance to get NPR (Nippon Piston Rings) piston rings for K8?
