so everybody on here has done something as simple as rims to stereo to paint to custom interiors. and im just curious as to what you all think your cars are worth, just off the top of your head. and dont start complaining and saying whats bad about someones car cause of what they think its worth that jsut gets too annoying.

i myself am not entirely sure what i think mines worth yet.

Touchy subject. People think the value of the car is relative to the work/money invested, but the truth is it is only worth what someone will give you for it. That Kijiji add that was posted recently of the F/X show car the guy is asking $15k for is ridiculous. It's a $3000 car that someone put another $20k into for stuff that only a very few people like and even fewer would actually buy.

I've spent over $5000 on my car on top of the $2000 I paid for it and I know good and well that it's worth about $2500 on the open market. If the body was done I could get $5k for it because it runs perfectly and has lots of new parts on it. But with some rust and a few scratches, it's nothing special to anyone but me.

Mines up for sale for $6000 right now....
more then 15K into it but that has no say what so ever!

In it's current state. At her prime, around 15-20k.
