Massive shaking under acceleration

So here's what happen, wot in 1st the chirp 2nd.. Heard a noise, then mad shaking.. Feels like the lugs are loose, but they are tight..
I thought it may be the wheel bearing on the drivers side, it has slowly been getting worse. However I took the spindle off last night and the bearing doesn't make noise and still spinds freely on the ground.. Could it be my CV joint? Seems to be on the passernger side.. I can move the cv in and out in the joint by the tranny fairly easily as well..

Ya I'm thinkin that too.. Just don't know what side.. The pass side has some grease on the inner boot, maybe its the passenger axle?
The drivers side axle has some play back and forth though, just a few mm but still

Not at all, there was a slight shake under accel in 2nd gear before all this. I think its the ds axle but hard to tell. Maybe I will replace both

if you have replaced them already and have the lifetime warranty i say go for it, if not... eh you might want to go ahead and replace both anyway... always considered axles like brakes, do them all at once.

No I haven't changed em before I don't have warrenty. I can get new axles for maybe 125 each. Not sure if they have warrenty or not but they aren't remans

Jack up the car and try turning the front wheels, one at a time. You should be able to feel which side is busted up, if it is the axle.
Have you considered your engine mounts as well? One of them might have busted rubber (or cracked polyurethane if you've swapped them).
Does it only make noise under acceleration, or when you're coasting as well?
If you do change the axles, don't forget to order a new seal for the driver side, and axle nuts (if they aren't included). You'll also need a slide hammer to get the passenger side off the halfshaft.

I have the ds already dissamsembled, so I will check the pass side later.
I have awr mounts, don't think that's a issue.
It only shakes under accell, not under coasting iirc, but haven't rrally driving it since I had the issue.
I have changed many cvs before, hopefully this fixes the issue

Hahaha... sorry.. didn't even notice who was posting.
You've got the rear AWR mount? How is it? I ordered one almost a month ago (still waiting for delivery). I'm hoping it cleans up the last remaining bucking I get. I've got the front and it made a big difference.

Haha ya its me
Umm I got the 88 set. Its ok, after some time to break in they get abit looser. There is still some bucking but that is proly from the soft crossmember bushings.
My buddy has 95s in his car and man are those ever stiff. To stiff for me

Ya I thought about the xmember bushings. I might just try steel washers.
I don't really care about vibration that much so I can deal. Or maybe a torque damper shock is the right answer. :/

A messed up retaining ring on a CV axle will do that too
