Seriously this is not a joke, I locked it the other day because I went to a local pub for wings night and didn't want to bring my Ipod in with me. When I got back to the car I went to unlock it and nothing. I don't care about the Ipod being in there because it's obviously safe, but all the "25 Mazda Canada" SE decals were in there that I promised to a few members here. I sent messages to these members saying I put them in the mail, fully intending to do it that day, and now I can't get them out. Can anybody help me?? I tried searching but there were no suitable matches found.

possibly try some wd-40, or penetrate to try and "free" it?

That's what bugs me, when I locked it, it turned just fine. Is it because it's not the original key???

is it the spare key? cuz i cannot unlock my glove box with the spare.

lol i laughed when i seen the title..and remembered i have the same problem with my new mx i jus picked up, it has no handle, at all...if you pull from the bottom, you should be able to "un-hinge" the glove box...its worked for me

Not sure if it applies to our cars.. but most have a 'valet key' that you can't open the glove box with. Try using the other key?

I went and grabbed my original key, the original, half stripped, and voila!!! It worked!!

I had this issue too..

Try pulling the key out just slightly once its in the lock and try turning, that is what worked for me after a new key.
