Dash Swap Help

I am in the process of swapping my 92 dash for a 94+ style. Colin and others posted that you can attach the 92 style rebar to the dash...but I am having severe difficulty figuring this out. NOTHING lines up. Trying to get the vent lines in there too doesn't make sense. I can kind of see a way to make the dash attach half a55ed, but still wouldn't be able to get the vent lines in there. I have the 94 rebar too, but I didn't want to cut anything which is why I thought the 92 rebar would work, as was posted in the thread.
Help please?

There are multiple threads on it, almost all of which don't have pictures any more. My G'f's camera isn't here right now so I can't take pics. The big thread I am referring to is

BUMP, still need help. I've got 2 screws in holding the dash to the 92 rebar. I have opted NOT to just swap the wires out as I don't have the complete 94 harness that attaches to the car or the 94 fusebox. To make the 92 harness work isn't that bad so far - for the cig lighter and cig lighter lights, you need to splice 4 wires - very simple. The hazard lights could be done the easy way or the hard way...the easy way is swapping the pushbuttons from the 92 dash and putting them into the 94 dash...this means that the bigger hazard switch isn't being used for anything.
A/C is a bigger issue. The plugs that go into the back of the HVAC controls are very similar, but 3 of the wires are in different positions for the main controller, and the 94+ has the AC button on the HVAC panel, while the 92 dash has it in the middle of the dash. Also the 94+ A/C swith has 2 wires that splice into 4, while the 92 switch has 4 wires of different color than the 92...I will try to get pics later. Worst comes to worse, I will install the HVAC w/o A/C, since my A/C is broken right now anyway!
I still cannot get the vent lines hooked up correctly. The 92 Rebar gets in the way. I had to cut some of the metal to put the glove box in, but if I were to cut the metal to fit the vent lines it would compromise the integrity of the rebar since it is the main piece that is blocking it.

I believe Colin said you either have you swap to a 94 rebar, or use a specific 94 dash
