This may be a silly question, but are you familiar with the whiteline sway bar? Corksport sells them:

I'm wrecking a 96, could remove the swaybar or you could go with aftermarket.

I have a 20mm OEM swaybar that you can have for $45. I'm pretty sure I have all the hardware, including upgraded Poly bushings.
