OK, so, SuperK has officially put AC into his AC-less-from-factory car.

Twas actually quite simple.
And everything works like it rolled right off the line with AC. No jerry rigging, no ghetto fabulous. Just plain factory OEM goodies. Cold-old-old air. SuperK is happy.

Pops and I were originally going have the valve stem seals replaced, but we went for gold apparently.

Since we were taking the head off, I figured might as well just replace crap. We did:
90Amp Upgrade. Woot!
Water Pump
All belts (timing belt included)
Timing belt Idler and Tensioner Pulleys (they sounded like little gerbil cages rolling)
Camshaft seals, front main seal
valve stem seals
brand new HLA's, all 16 of them boogers
head gasket
new hoses and poop
All of the air conditioning.
I think that's all we did...

So does anyone want a write up of the air conditioning install? If it's useful I will throw out mah findings...

SuperK, have you ever thought about putting stuff in your worklog?

I've always heard it was a dealer-installed item and that the cars are pre-wired for it, I know my non-A/C GS is...Could you confirm this being the case?
