auto to manual swap 92 1.6 sohc

Hi,noobie 1st post.Just wondering about an auto to manual swap.Friends mom gave me a 921.6 sohc mx3.the auto trannys on its way out.125k on motor,is it feasable?what parts?I have friends with junkyards.Im in long island,ny.I've been lurkin around reading,and figured i might as well post.Hopefully in the right place.
