Hey Guys,

I am looking at an MX-3 to purchase and it has shaved door handles. If I brought it into BC I would need to get it safety tested. I was just wondering if this would pass the safety test as my friend in saskatoon failed the test because he had shaved door handles. Anyone in BC know?

If not I will just call ICBC and check with them.

you must have door handles to pass, its a safty thing if the people inside are unable to get out due to being knocked out. you could always put doors on with handles then swap back to the shaved ones after the inspection. now this is still illegal and i dont know if you would get a ticket if pulled over or have to pay to go threw vehicle inspection again to pass safty.

i did not know that. but ya it makes sense i guess that it wouldnt pass safety without handles
