I need help to verify proper EGR connections.
Please take a look at pictures below and tell me how it is connected in your mx3.

Here is picture of my EGR solenoid:

And here is my VICS shutter valve and EGR:


I marked hose lines with colors so it is easier for me to explain.

My question is:
Is the GREEN line (pic1) supposed to be connected to the BLUE line (pic2) or to the YELLOW line (pic2) ?

The story is that according to the workshop manual, if i read the picture correctly - GREEN should connect to YELLOW (EGR), and RED to BLUE (air filter housing)
But in my mx3 it was just the opposite - so I swaped hoses to match workshop manual diagram and now (3 days after the swap) I have
- CHECK ENGINE LIGHT with code 16 (EGR - open or short circuit).

I am wondering if it is just coincidence and my EGR failed or I messed up my hoses and the diagram is incorrect.

So - please - anyone - let me know the proper connections.

if the solenoid your looking at is the Vent solenoid then it goes to the blue one which connects to the air box right? if its the vacuum solenoid then it goes to the yellow which is for the egr valve itself
