hey everyone! was just wondering if theres any way to open up the guage cluster/is it hard to get it out from the dash, reason i ask is that my spedometer needle snapped today as it was already messed up from when i bought it..... the needle would bounce but i guess it finally had enough n just snapped off, id like to change it out if its not to much trouble or if its even possible?
thanks again!

Re: 93 mx3 guage cluster
The book :
http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php ... _S-060.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The explaination:
Number 9 in that diagram needs to go. Its one one screw on the underside, cloests to the drivers door.
Number 11 needs to go. There are some screws hidden beneath a rubber flap. Put your tilt steering all the way down, it helps.
Number 12 is the cluster. Do all the screws first. If you can, do the plugs.
The speedometer cable is the hardest part. This is the best way I've found: Fold the seat all the way back and get in it upside down, with your head in the footwell. Reach your right arm up and behind the cluster. Find the thick cable that, when moved, moves the cluster audibly. Find the base of it against the cluster and figure out the clip. I never remember if its a slide or a push or a pinch.
Reverse for assembly.
The advice:
Search function is awesome. I don't know how many more times I want to type something of this exact nature, but I'm still feeling nice.
