Hej Guys,

Every factory etc puts an unique number on your car (chassis number)

But.. this number can be decoded. Like country of origin, color etc etc

Does anybody now how to read/decode ours?

I'd imagine if you googled what you're looking for, it would be out there. VIN code? or chassis code? I know they are different, just wondering what you're talking about...

There's a VIN decoder here: http://www.standardautowreckers.com/. It proved that I was right about my car, it was originally an RS. The colour code can be found on a sticker on the inside of the driver's doorwell.

So, they know EVERYTHING.

But I bet they're too lazy to type out the whole thing so it's ok.

Well if you debage it, they need to in order to write you a ticky.

It would be funny to bage an MX as an CRX, see if they write that on the ticky, and then you get it, and you're all like "Uhh, I don't own a CRX..."

Wonder if it voids the ticket? I guess plates are what matter most.

You stole it back, of course.
