I found one on e-bay but from a year 93, can anyone confirm if they're the same or not?

As in the ECU? The box behind the middle console, right? Or are you talking about something else?

not the same.

it's hooked up to the fuse box bottom left corner of the dash(workshop manual refers to it as the CPU, in the joint box), it controls the rear wiper, defrost lights, buzzers etc. The one from 93 has the same pin holes but am not sure

I've got a 95 that should have it in there, interested?
