that certainly sucks. Good thing its just a hood and lip, I've heard of deer doing a lot more damage than that. We have deer problems here a lot during some seasons. I was going around a cloverleaf interchange at about 90kph about a year ago and there was a fricken deer at the top of it. Luckily I was able to slow down enough and drive passed it, but I imagine it could have been pretty bad. Those things do have some weight to them.

I actually hit a fox doing about 70 the other day, I thought for sure it wrecked my lip, but it didn't actually do any damage at all.

The bug splatter around Fort Macleod is a Canadian horror story. At least it was on the bike.

Drove over a porcupine and the quills were stuck every where. Needed to get exhaust work done after and the mechanic wasn't impressed.

Yeah, stupid animals. On my way back from Burning Man at night, tired, and dreary, I saw a cow in the middle of my lane at the very last second. I was going about 65 in my fully loaded 33' RV with 7 other people and all their gear. I figured I'd clip the cow, since I didin't want to jerk it too much, and maybe flip. I think I nicked it's jaw, and woke everyone up. Woke me uo, too, enough that when a deer ran from my side, in front of us, going the same direction for about 5 seconds, I didn't kill it, either.
