Regardless, I still need to have come vehicular-type of enjoyment, and the Xterra fulfills that in a different way, so I'm not going through any widthdrawls, yet, lol. I still would honestly perfer to drive the Mx, she's just do much fun, but what can you do.
Adventure Weekend is a yearly 4-day camping trip on the last long weekend of the year in Minden, Ontario organised by the Canadian Nissan Truck Club. There are literally several off-road trails to use legitamitely (and was quite popular that weekend since the weather co-operated) with ranging difficulty and there are multiple groups that are organized with trail leaders who know the trails, as well that act like spotters for us who need help. I was only able to go Fri-Sun and unfortunately only did one trail Saturday since i had to leave early Sunday (had to flight out Monday morning), but it was great fun, learned alot and look forward to the next, which I'll plan to make it a full 4 solid days if possible. Where were many newcommers, including myself, as well as lowridah313. He used to own an Mx-3 and parted it out this past winter.
Friday's convo up that coincidentally we all happen to have Solar Yellow trucks

Our first decent being spotted. Tom (lowridah313) with me following

On the way back, he drove over a rock and he ended up sliding off sideways, high-siding on it, which ironicly kept him inches from a 6ft drop.

Mud hole at the turn-around. I'm the first one with street tires to give it a run (Tom was to chicken to go in first, lol), might as well, got plenty of help if i get stuck

Stopped for lunch at the turn around point

In case you were wondering what's on my roof rack, those were my sleeping arrangements:

The truck did awesome, didn't even get close to getting stuck in the mud. I could always use a lift and bigger tires, but need to get rid of the 17's (keep them for street tires) and get some 15" rims with off-road tires.
