I'm interested but the mx-3 has an edge all the way around... it looks like the ford probe hatch just has a rectangle at the back...

I'm just wondering if the entire thing would be fiberglass/ carbon fiber? is that hatch on the probe just overlaid?? I'm guessing they would ship without glass to save on shipping... then we could fit lexan or something else :o

I would be willing to pay that much if it's as good as it seems... maybe if Jesse's and mine ship together we could split the freight!!

I want one. I would be also intersted in a FG one for cheaper, or one that was made, but wasn't perfect, for less, but if all were CF, and came out perfect, I could throw down $650.

Wow, not too shabby. Even has a latch. For some reason I think our hatch would cost a lot more.
I could picture a nice low cf spoiler on there... mmm sexy. She aint cheap, but cf never is.

I wouldn't mind buying one w/ the option on the lexan glass since most of the weight comes from our hatch glass (they say 60lbs)

I don't think there are enough ppl in this community willing to spend the $$$ on these types of upgrades.

Sorta thing I'd buy, but it would end up double the price to get it shipped!

Would you see how much it would cost if 4 of us get one? How about the cost of doing it with FG?

I'm going to look into this myself. After all the recent upgrades I've done, I'm actually interested in both the hood and hatch in CF for my car.

Honestly, I'm actually interested in one, I think it would look awesome with my paint color and CF hood. I'm just worried about fitament and strength. If it fit like Keith's I'd jump on that like a fat kid on a smartie. And I've got my spoiler mounted to my hatch. I definitely want to keep it but I don't want it to ruin the hatch if by chance it gets stressed from the wind over the spoiler.

I'd even donate my car to the project but I don't want to mess up my hatch. I'm very curious on a lexan version, but does lexan actually look like clear glass or is it foggy? I'd sacrifice my rear defog probably, but I really would like to keep my rear wiper.

I'd be inclined to make it with just the garnish; this would allow everyone to mount either a factory or aftermarket spoiler to it.

The little glass area could be eliminated, but I like it so I'd say keep it.

Polycarbonate (Lexan) is transparent or opaque; as you want it.

ITs CF so stress is its friend!

You like the hood I sold you? then don't worry about fitment mikey; like a glove!
