How do i remove the rear window?

I searched, and looked in Chilton's.... Can I re-use the rubber?

Change the whole assembly if you can. Other than that a guy at a glass place said to be careful not to damage the rubber trim. He said they usually reuse the rubber but the rubber trim you see isn't the seal, it's just outer trim. Also there's a chance if you nick the glass it'll crack when you try to install.

Good to know the trim & seal is not 1 peice.
I'm taking out the glass, and putting in polycarbonate, since it's about 1/3 of the weight.

nice! A guy from UK was going to do a load of them, but he sold his mx :( Rear window is ridiculously heavy!

fowljesse, How are you going about getting the windows ect... made from polycarbonate? This sounds interesting and would shave off alot of weight. What are the costs?

I found a local supplier, through Google. It was $183 for the back, and side windows. The sides are 1/8", and the back is 3/8". Look for any poly. Lexan, Makrolon, Plexiglass, etc.. are all the same, just different brands. They have slightly different scratch resistance, bulletproof, etc. qualities, but not enough to make a difference in this application.
