reminds me of a maxima or big body lexus the way the headlights swoop back... and the way the roof tapers down...

Haha, i was reading this post, and I'm thinking "I wonder if the Mazda9 will take after the 929", than the first line of the article they mentioned it.
What would be cool tho, the Mazda9 to compete against the Audi R8. Mind you, if it was that insane, it would probably have a better name than just a "Mazda9"

Hmmm, the MPV at the time was based off the 929 platform....
