Today was the day ive sought after for almost 2 years.

I was finally able to drive my car, right down route 31.

At first i went easy making sure everything was good, i looped back around and brought it back to the barn. checked all the fluids/plugs/timing, and went for it.

I took a right out of the barn and down 31 towards the church

1st gear was uneventful (big turbo syndrome) i easily shift into second and cruised along some more, traffic ahead of me clears for about an 1/8 mile and i lay into it.

2nd gear on the other hand, wow. The steering wheel jerks to the left as i watch the boost climb to 10 lbs, and the tires just spinning and spinning and spinning right by an outdoor auction. I lay off the throttle at 50 mph (right around 7k) and i began to shake.

I pull over and turn back around driving slowly by the auction to see all eyes on me and some on their cell phones :(.

Knowing what this means i retreat to the barn and shortly after i was greeted by Sargent Colella, who HEARD some of my show (f---) and kindly asked me to park the car for the day.

No tickets were issued
How you ask? Another car enthusiast. Thank god.

Its got a few leaks. The oil drain and the gas tank i forgot about before i stored it. And i believe even a small boost leak!>! so its only going to get faster.

I cant wait

just thought i would share with you guys, without this Forum and the help from many people none of this would have happened.
Thank you

Sounds like you got a lot of power in under your hood! Can you show us some pics of your ride and engine bay?

what a great story - at least the cop appreciated the power - deep down he was probably like "WOW + it's an mx-3"
