Swapping an I4 to V6 requires swapping everything in the engine bay, including engine, tranny, axles, radiator, pumps, etc.

i may be mistaken, but there is a 4cyl engine with 210hp stock!...I cant recall the 3 letters that the engine is called, but to change from a 4cyl to a 6cyl, youll neeed an entire v6 car to swap over to the 4cyl...a very big job, and it seems easier and cheaper to just get the 210hp 4cyl :)

The KJS is the 210hp stock V6. not I4. But it will need alot of modification to fit.

If you're planning on swapping a 4cyl Mx-3 to a V6 than you should of just started with a V6 Mx-3, cause you'll need one as a donor car and use pretty much everthing in the engine bay, as well you would of gotten rear disc brakes and a quicker turning steering rack.

You have a DOHC 4cyl, so you're engine harness is incompatible, but you have the option of swapping in a BPT motor, it's a turbo 1.8L 4cyl that bolts right in pretty much (it's usually recommended to upgrade to a Protege LX tranny). There's the GTX that makes 180hp and the rare GTR that makes 210hp, you can jsut swap an N/A BP for now and turbo it later, the N/A head is better flowing anyway. The N/A BP makes a little less than 130hp, so about the same as the Mx-3's K8 stock 1.8L V6

The 210hp V6 is the KJ-ZEM, it's a 90* supercharged miller-cycle V6 and will likely not fit in our engine bays. Your better with the 198hp KLZE. The KJ is meant for efficiency, not performance.

also it would be beneficial for you to do some searching around these forums - there is a ton of good information about the available swaps... BTW it's an i4 not a v4
