If this engine fits the mazda 323 gtx engine bay, it can also fit the mx3:

I dont see why it wouldnt fit. Did you see he made custom mounts. nice.
he should have gone all the way tho.. install the evo head on the 3rd gen eclipse block.. what do you get? a stroked 2.4 evo engine.

Very nice. Definitely original and clean. And one of the nicest wire tuck I have ever seen.

4G63 in an MX-3? I dunno man, I guess you could do it, but I'll avoid it. If you do go that route, look into the differences between 6-bolt and 7-bolt cranks, and be prepared never to let anybody work on your car again

Nice swap. lots of aftermarket parts avaible for that engine! just is it reliable? as the 4g63 is high maintnence just like a rotary..

if i had to choose between the two uber awd motor setups right now, personally i would have went with the scoobie do more reliable motor than the 4g parts cost more but it can handle the same amount of power
